Delphi.NET on .NET CF

Wow, we had a very exciting news from Danny Thorpe, Borland Chief Scientist that someone in Borland called Seppy was able to demonstrate to develop an application with Delphi.NET and run it in .NET Compact Framework !! It is really exciting after we were down while reading his explaination why Borland still does not support Delphi.NET running on .NET Compact Framework.

It is great !! Recently I had discussion with a smart programmer who does a lot of programming in PPC and he recommended me to learn Microsoft Embedded Visual C++ for its stability and compatibility. I agree, however as a Delphi fans, I would prefer to do my programming (including for PPC development) in my beloved Delphi. So it is really a good news, at least for me who has a plan to learn the programming in PPC. 🙂
